Please reach out to set up an initial consultation. We will schedule a phone call to discuss your concerns and discuss next steps.
-
Yes. We are happy to schedule a 15-20 minute phone call free of charge. During this phone call, we will ask you why you are reaching out and what you are looking for. We may ask you a few more questions about the kind of help you are seeking and how you hope to benefit from our support. We will discuss our approach and style, discuss logistics and scheduling, and can answer any questions you have. This is a good opportunity to determine if we are the right fit to work together. If, for any reason, we are not an appropriate fit, we will provide referrals for other providers in the community who can better meet your needs.

I do not accept insurance directly, but can provide superbills for psychotherapy. If you have a PPO insurance plan, you are eligible for approximately 40-80% reimbursement from your health insurance provider. To find out exactly what you are eligible for in terms of reimbursement, please call your insurance provider and ask what the “out-of-network” reimbursement or coverage rate is for psychotherapy code 90834.

Psychotherapy is a health care service designed to diagnose and treat specific symptoms. Coaching/consultation is focused on identifying and achieving goals through education. The laws governing how psychotherapy and coaching/consultation are practiced differ. For example, only psychotherapy is eligible for insurance reimbursement. I am only able to see clients for psychotherapy who reside in the state of California.
