Adolescent Therapy
Who We Work With
We work with adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-destructive behaviors, emotional dysregulation, difficulties with friendships, self-esteem, identity confusion, and stress/perfectionism, among other issues and concerns.
How We Help
Individual therapy can provide a safe and non-judgmental space for adolescents to learn how to identify, understand, and cope with their emotions, build emotional resilience so that they can manage challenges, and explore their personal values and goals. We understand the specific challenges that adolescents and their families face.
Our Approach
Our approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory and integrates principles from DBT that help adolescents build skills, as well as increase self-compassion.
