Tracy Bitterolf, AMFT
Tracy Bitterolf is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, children, and families on their journey toward healing and connection. She has extensive experience working with perinatal mental health, anxiety, depression, grief, and parenting challenges.
Tracy enjoys working with couples to strengthen their relationship through effective communication and deepened emotional connection, as well as helping them navigate the complexities of parenting. She utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method in her work with couples, fostering secure bonds and lasting relationship satisfaction.
Additionally, she enjoys working with children and adolescents to provide a compassionate space for growth and self-discovery. Tracy works with children and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, stress and trauma, family disruption such as parental separation and divorce, and identity concerns.
Tracy’s work is rooted in psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks. She also integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) and interpersonal neurobiology. As a therapist, she is culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trauma-informed.
Tracy earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate Institute and her Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley. She completed postgraduate training at CalFam Counseling Center, where she provided therapy to individuals, couples, and families in the San Fernando Valley. Additionally, she has specialized training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International.
Tracy understands firsthand the transformative power of therapy and considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients as they explore growth, healing, and new possibilities.
