I do not accept insurance directly, but can provide superbills for psychotherapy. If you have a PPO insurance plan, you are eligible for approximately 40-80% reimbursement from your insurance company. To find out exactly what you are eligible for in terms of reimbursement, please call your insurance provider and ask what the “out of network” reimbursement or coverage rate is for psychotherapy code 90834.

Psychotherapy is a health care service designed to diagnose and treat specific symptoms. Coaching/consultation is focused on identifying and achieving goals through education. The laws governing how psychotherapy and coaching/consultation are practiced differ. For example, only psychotherapy is eligible for insurance reimbursement. I am only able to see clients for psychotherapy who reside in the state of California.
